Seems like the pre-season picks were close for everyone but Del State and MD-Eastern Shore.

Who set up the events schedule for the MEAC?  Why on earth is the cheerleader exhibition on Monday night?  You don't even start playing any games until Tuesday.   Is there not a fan feast scheduled for Saturday?    shrug   Then again looking at the highlights from last year's exhibition there were not a lot of folks in attendance.   I guess most folks are not into pyramid building, stunts, and tumbling.    no   tiptoe

Uh, for those NEW People....MEAC Cheerleaders COMPETE...that's what real athletes do...but i guess if watching recycled AKA and Delta Stepshows is your thing, then i guess the CI is where you need to be  shrug

But I do agree, Moving the competition to Monday night was not a smart move...but I'll be there non the less watching my Aggies bring home more trophies

Predictions:

Overall: my money is on them AGGIES

Co-ed: Aggies (if word on the street is true), FAMU (if they compete this year...might give the aggies a run for their money), SC State (maybe NSU of they can be clean)

All Girls: WSSU (If A&T moves to Co-ed..and Morgan still sucks), MSU...everybody else don't matter   lol

^^^^^^^

All I have ever seen from the MEAC cheerleaders is gymnastics.   What does that have to do with cheering?  Granted gymnastics is for athletes, but gymnists don't cheer.    shrug   crazy    tiptoe

CIAA cheeleaders do a lot more than AKA and Delta routines.   At least they can fill up a 19,000 seat arena halfway instead of a couple of hundred people.

Why do we keep insisting on comparing everything in the CIAA to the MEAC? Cheerleading styles are different as are some other things. Just because we're HBCU's doesn't mean we all enjoy the same things.
For me I appreciate the gymnastics and athleticism. So much of HBCU culture is chanting, stomping and hand claps. In fact we mimick and copy each other to  the point that there is very little originality in anything we do. Case in point, how many HBCU bands use "I'm so Glad" as a fight song? It's refreshing to see something different.

Not even close to being accurate.  MEAC Cheerleading --> copycats of what they see on ESPN.  They get no response from their own fans.
