Here's my problem - they aren't losing this bad only to the #1 team in the country.
Arkansas (a team folks say is no good - which is true) beat them 130-68...
Robert Morris' only victory this year (1-4) was 107-76 beatdown of Alcorn...
Wichita St (good, but not great) beats them 87-52...
SWAC basketball futility doesn't stop with just Alcorn.
Southern, Jackson St and UAPB are also winless.
Grambling (over Paul Quinn by 5 points), Alabama St (only win over Columbus St) and MVSU (only win over Champion Baptist College) have only one win, with none over a DI school.
All of these games ain't against the Kansases of the world. They can't even beat the Kansas A&M Tech's of the world.....I DON'T GET IT
Exactly my sentiments. Let's stop making excuses. How about coaches start recruiting better players. How about AD's hire better coaches. I'm tired of hearing, "They're just taking a loss for the money, bending over for a buck, etc." If you're going to be a DI coach, find a way to compete with DI teams. To Kansas, I understand a big loss, but some of these other teams, Robert Morris?!? Weren't Arkansas' top players all suspended? They were playing with a golfer!!!
