This is ridiculous!

Dave Whitney come to the rescue.

When did we forget how to play basketball?

I know Kansas has talent, but Geez, forget the sets, take the ball out quickly after opponent's baskets, push the ball looking for easy baskets, & phuque that 3 point shot.

Quit trying to post someone low, bring your big man high, run lane & backdoor cuts all night with big man trying to hit cutters to the basket.

They had to bend Alcorn over for that check. It happens with pwc mid-level teams too.

Pretty much, man. I was watching the sportsticker in the gym last night. I swear I kept seeing 4pts for the longest. I didn't think if they were going to get anymore points. no

The sad thing is prostituting your players. I have no problem with our teams playing good competition, as in maybe (two or three max) the bottom half teams in major conference (i.e. Morgan State vs Arkansas). But when you feel like you can go play against top teams (this game  no) and really compete, well, you're fooling yourself. They went 6 - 25 last year. Why would they schedule Kansas, Ohio State, etc.?

This year they have already lost by 67, 40, 62, 31, and 35. The 35 point loss was 2 nights before last nights game. I don't care what anyone says that is not good for recruiting and the student athletes are loosing morale.

Here's my problem - they aren't losing this bad only to the #1 team in the country.

Arkansas (a team folks say is no good - which is true) beat them 130-68...
Robert Morris' only victory this year (1-4) was 107-76 beatdown of Alcorn...
Wichita St (good, but not great) beats them 87-52...

SWAC basketball futility doesn't stop with just Alcorn.
Southern, Jackson St and UAPB are also winless.
Grambling (over Paul Quinn by 5 points), Alabama St (only win over Columbus St) and MVSU (only win over Champion Baptist College) have only one win, with none over a DI school.

All of these games ain't against the Kansases of the world.  They can't even beat the Kansas A&M Tech's of the world.....I DON'T GET IT  shrug
