Two members of my Tuesday night pinochle club attended this game.  They came in talking about the two 6'8" players that Auburn has.  They said that one girl was 6'8" and about 270 lbs.  The other one is 6'8" and skinny.  They said that A&T could not do anything with them but the lady aggies caused problems with their quickness.

The size of those chicks were unreal.

I thought we had a pretty good crowd last night.  It had to be 3000 folks there.  Again, the game was free, so folks just walked into the gym.  The attendance for the game was not tallied at the entrances....

The box score lists attendance as 1,527.

Decks,
Did you go to the game last night?  I'm telling you, I went through the south entrance (facing Benbow Street) - I came in around the same time a group of Aggies students were coming in.  They didn't swipe my season card, nor did anyone have to cross through any turnstyles.  I really don't know how they came with such an "accurate number" of 1527 - they clearly were not recording attendance figures as they normally do.   There were 3000 people at the game - it was a very solid crowd with a lot of enthusiasm.

Auburn 76
Aggies 63

Shame on the administration for not promoting this game!!  Angry

I just knew that they would have pumped this game up...Just like when NCCU would play schools like WSSU and JCSU on TV...Those games were packed...The atlethics department pumped up the game as if it were a championship game.....I didn't even hear it on the radio at all!

It didn't even appear on the athletic site until a few hours before game time. If not for Bornthrill and his guerilla marketing through BDV.com there would have been no mention of this game. Our athletic administration failed miserably on this one. We should have had no less than 3,500 people in attendance for this game.

To a girl's game?

Dude this is Auburn, that plays in the SEC. They have a girl who was 6'8. That alone was reason enough. Woman's basketball is becoming a big deal here in the triad.
