I forgot to mention that probably one of the worse quarterbacks in WSSU football history, might very well be Jarrett Dunston http://www.wssurams.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/dunston_jarrett00.html, who came from a DI program and was just....  I hope there are some takers from (NSU, A&T, NCCU, Howard etc.) for this guy--he has one semester of playing time left.

Well considering the season WSSU just had the only place they can go is up. Hopefully. Bill Hayes has seen many football seasons and still has a few contacts, so I wouldn't count him out yet. Besides the only thing that really  separates HBCU athletics is conference name.  By and large all HBCUs are in the same boat. A few do have more students and better facilities. WSSU will get some quality players (some are transfers read) even if most of the so-called DI players leave. Bill has already started working on it. Also, remember coaches don't necessarily apply for the job first, they are chosen  then they apply!
