Well, considering our 4 home game schedule, and who we played at home, along with  our win / loss record this year, it is what it was. But, with "Eagles" traveling on the road, most of this year, other programs got a nice boost at their gates from traveling NCCU "Eagle Fans".

Next year (2010)  should be an outstanding year with 6 or (possibly 7) home games scheduled for NCCU.

Let's Go Eagles !!!!!

Take Care!

Our numbers are down this year.

That Central Methodist game was the worst attended NCCU game I've witnessed in several years.

Our numbers are down this year.

Very Understandable - no opponent from NC, no MEAC school, no rival.  I am surpised we were even in the top 10 for DI HBCU attendance ranking.  As others have said - I think the home attendance numbers will look very different next year.

Next season with home games including Hampton, A&T, WSSU and others - our attendance number will look pretty good compared to this past season.

Is that considered a home game for ASU? I don't think classics are counted?

That is a good question Decks...it is a Classic but it is also their Homecoming so they are always the home team...

I would be interested in the answer to that one..

I think if it's in their "HOME" field/stadium, it will be counted.  Where is the game played and is it considered their "HOME" field/stadium?

For example the WSSU football games in the city owned stadium is considered their "HOME" field/stadium. So the attendance numbers there are allowed in their average "HOME" attendance.  The same is true for Bethune - they play all their home games in a city stadiium also don't they?

Anytime NCCU plays a game away from the "HOME" field/stadium - it CANNOT be counted in our "HOME" attendance average numbers.  The Sponsor(s) of a game or classic may have some imput on whether or not it can be counted in a "HOME" average attendance, even if the game is played on one's "HOME" field/stadium. I guess it could get technical.
