My father will act like a child if my mother does not cook food the way he wants it. It's not easy to change eating habits but after a while you get use to it. You eat to live, not to enjoy it. We had our youth to enjoy foods, can't do it now. I can easily walk past the Blue Bell ice cream, hint, hint. What's really bad is the fact that I'm an excellent cook. But I don't do it up unless it is the holidays or I'm cooking for others. On a typical day, my meats are broiled, no bread, and I watch the sides. No Mac & cheese in my house.
