Nova, Fayetteville State has alot of things public because it is a state school.  Yet, the names of the finalists for the Chancellor position was suppose to be secret.  The public was not to know who the finalist was until that person accepted the job.

Some things are good.  Some things are bad.  Maybe you should lobby to be on the Board of Trustees at Tuskegee and change some things.  Under the criteria Tuskegee has you should make sure a good fit is hired to run a school as prestigious as Tuskegee.

You must have missed many of my other post on Onnidan showing that the majority of private universities also make their information public. If you'd like me to post those links to those past topics and links to their information I can do that for you?

BT,

I think you can assume the answer to your question is NO.

We've covered this ground already Nova.  You aren't presenting anything new.

I have one question.  Why does the next president of Tuskegee have to have a doctorate degree?

I have one question.  Why does the next president of Tuskegee have to have a doctorate degree?

Many in university/college academia think that college president without "a terminal degree" is not acceptable. 13 percent of U.S. college presidents came from outside of academia, up from 10.1 percent in 1986.

Take a read of this:

I'm not concerned if you believe me or not. It's just important that folks see what Tuskegee is or is not doing and this is the purpose of this topic.

Now, if you don't agree with putting out information in a timely way for all alumni then that's just a personal issue.

Fact is Tuskegee University has not done this and you're making excuse for them not doing it.

WHEN DID I MAKE AN EXCUSE?
I know what i need to know, THEY have answered every question I ever asked of them.
You can stay on your soap box and preach...while others carry on the Mission of the University.

....carry on...

Your excuse is that you think it's okay that Tuskegee University has not already made a webpage and with facts etc. available in at timely manner.

The mission of the university has been: to not make information public to the alumni, declining enrollment, programs to have seen accreditation issues with last minute fixes where they should have never been in trouble from the beginning, turned off alumni impacting the maximum alumni giving rate, faculty that are given no voice, a board of trustees dominated and chaired by non-alumni and a presidential search committed lead and dominated by non-alumni.
