Lastly, you do understand (I hope) that per capita HBCU graduates earn less and are don't own the corporate businesses like their white counterparts. WSSU's graduates and alumni were essentially TEACHERS. Do you know how much a teacher makes now; and made then??
I tried to get folks to understand this some time ago, when many want to automatically jump on the alumni of our schools for lack of giving compared to the PWCs.
But teachers and others can give something. Giving nothing is the problem. Yes PWCs give more, but they have more things to pay out too.
True for the most part but the number of other graduates degree (nursing, computer field, etc..)
has grown at WSSU and I for one is an engineer that graduated from WSSU and I give alot of money to the university.
I agree with eagle pride something is better then nothing
We definitely need to give more especially the women from wssu

I know more guys that give back then the women. IMO
OH yeah. The school stopped being TC about 2 years after I graduated. Folks are doing better, but were still behind.
I also tried to get everyone especially our athletics department to realize that the overwhelming majority of our grads are women, and we need to recognize that and approach them appropriately. Unlike our lady friends here, and a few jock/coach groupies, most don't get the need to support athletics.
