Pmist, it is not subjective. I have had many different types of Georgia peaches. I have also had many types of North Carolina Peaches. North Carolina Peaches are better peaches.
That statement is very subjective. There are bound to be more people that disagree with you than I; AND YOU KNOW IT. Though your pride will not allow you to admit it, some people will look at one your peaches and say "OH HELL NAW!" The same goes for myself. It all comes down to tastebuds and those are very subjective.
Case in point: take the liquorish (sp) stick. To me, there is nothing more nasty than that stuff, however some people love them! How can that be? People are different and they like different things. So where as I will say get that stick out of here, they will beg for the piece I am about to throw away.
It really simple. Even if you dont like GA peaches, you need to realize that people down here LOVE their peaches and will defend them like you all defend BBQ.
And about the pecan thing, as I have told someone from Tuskegee this week, PLEASE SAVE YOUR PITY FOR THE WEAK Sir.
