"There is a place in downtown Greensboro owned by ""us"", therefore I won‘t call them out. All the brothers and sisters were raving about it so I decided to give them a try. You would have thought they went to Churches Chickens and ordered wings from there, brought them back to their business and dumped very hot sauce on them.  Everybody in my party was tearing them up, I was like,
Just because they were super hot don‘t make them good. Folks have little taste."

"No doubt, BW-3‘s.  Sorry tasting, puny, overcooked and overpriced.  Close second, Hooters."

"When I was at the University of Illinois @ Urbana-Champaign, BW3 had very good wings.

It wasn‘t until I went to the BW3 in Tallahassee that I observed what you did...they weren‘t good  at all.

Never had the desire to go into Hooters although I know a lot of folks go there...I don‘t want somebody serving me with their twins hanging all over my food...."

"It is all about how you cook a wing. Most of the time my wing place is very good, but sometimes the cook gets lazy and under cook them. A wing has to be over cooked so that it is flavored all the way to the bone. A good wing is not soft and juicy.    no  If you want a good wing at home marinate that sucker over night and then bake the hell out of it, or put on grille."

I hate over cooked wings! They have no meat on them and they are like biting leather. Anything that I have to drown in blue cheese is not good.  :nono:

The worst wings I have ever had came from this chinese place in Ft. valley. It sucked! They should stick to the mu goo gai pan specials...

"Cap,
I warm the oven on bake, put the wings in and turn to broil. Flip one time and you got crispy wings.  Cheesy"

"87 Alum, Jaimac, I concur, Hooters wings are not
all that. They‘re just fried chicken wings - PERIOD.

DEFINITELY nothing to write home about.

I like to do my wangz on the grill at home. I marinate them suckas in some beer and some garlic.

Then I grill ‘em and grill ‘em and grill ‘em and when they are done, I slather on my JT‘s wing sauce with the Jack Daniels Whiskey mixed in and let ‘em grill SOME MO!

Talk about lipsmackin, fingerlickin good?
YOU JUST DON‘T KNOW!"

"Sharing my Buffalo Wing Recipe with the forum...I can adapt this for the audience...but also like to kick it up a notch with a bit more cayenne pepper, additional chili pepper and a bit more Tabasco....great at tailgates and gatherings...you‘ll need cold "

"‘87

That recipe would burn my tongue out!

I might have try out JT‘s grilling recipe.  I‘m not into sauces on my wings as a rule, but I‘ll try it out!

It‘s been unseasonably warm around here.  Might be a wings and brats day on the grill Saturday!"

"By the way I like to just keep it simple when doing wings.

Marinade in Goya Mojo Criollo for several hours (the longer the better), and grill!  Good Eatin!"

"I like the Goya brand. Our hood supermarket went out of business and black folks were afraid to buy the Hispanic stuff including Goya. Once it got down to 70-80% off, I started buying it up. My second refrigerator is filled with all the Hispanic brand juices. i don‘t understand why folk felt that stuff was different. It was all likely packaged at the same plant."
