They just don‘t make them like they use to. I think it‘s pretty much simple.

But for real,
VG for kids like that, I think the key is getting them OUT of the house and exposed to some things, CONFIDENCE-building activities. Some kids don‘t get that and you have to kinda place them in  certain situations little by little.  Thats usually all it takes.

As for the band hazing, Iono much about it or greek hazing overall. I just know what I have heard and I don‘t put too much trust into what I heard. So, not a lot I can say about it.

Other than.....""...this one time at band camp...""    Cheesy

"Interesting indeed....

JayT, I was really really nice to him...he just got on my nerves with his whining and crying, and he‘s about 8 or 9.  The biggest problem I think is that his mother babies him a little too much.....

I know you‘ve got to protect your children, especially with the crazy people in the world today, but my folks taught me at an early age that dissapointment is a part of life....some of their favorite words were ""let that be a lesson to you"" or ""I bet you‘ll know next time won‘t ya?"""

"The hazing laws are a trip.  I use to tell pledges that according to the law people get hazed every day. If you get stupid with this law, you can say your boss hazed you because you feared losing your job. We are raising a bunch of wussies."

"Valley Girl, you‘re absolutely right...and 8 or 9
yrs old is TOO DAMN OLD for ANY child to be whining and crying.
You‘ll also notice often they will do that crap with
the folks who ALLOW IT but won‘t do it with Uncle
larry or Aunt Pearline cause they know THEY DON‘T PLAY THAT.
They will do what they are given license to do.   Wink

   Glad to know the Sonic Boom is back. I‘m sure
the fans are equally excited too!"
