"I think the logic is to make room for more students on the home side.  That really hurt the band battle during the game, the 5th, and also school spirit.  Our N-C-C-U never connected."

Maybe that‘s just too logical. But it can be that simple...   shrug   Band members are students too you know.

I still don‘t understand why we would put the home band on the visitor‘s side.  I will ask around today.  It‘s crazy. I hope it‘s changed by Saturday‘s game. Such a disconnect."

"Nope, it won‘t be changed this season.  Plus, there will not be another visiting Band to visit NCCU this season, unless St. Aug‘s brings theirs.  I could be very wrong. But, I doubt very seriously that the two PWC‘s will bring their Bands to NCCU.

Looks Like the Case is closed for this season and until the future scheduled Stadium expansion is completed.

Take Care!"

What is the deal about the Stadium expansion?  Will it happened soon?

One explanation I have heard is that the band wants their parents to sit close to the band and the only way to accomplish this is to put them on the visitors side. It is a little distracting with both bands on the same side.         Peace.

"Let me see.  The band, students, visiting fans and band, and band members families will be on the small side packed in like sardines, and the usual fans will be on the larger side with plenty of room.       shrug

I‘ve been a band parent for four years and I always sat next to the band.  All they have to do is get there before kick off.  However, if the band wants to sit on that side, more power to them.  It‘s all about supporting the home team, right?"
