"Well Cats we just  have  to accept the fact that today‘s college student is different. Most of them don‘t get that emotional about a game. Heck, many don‘t even arrive at the stadium until just before half time. They are just not into the sport like we were in years past when that was all we had. They have a lot of other things to occupy themselves with. Most don‘t even live on campus anymore. Back in the day our lives centered around what happened on campus."

During high school day last year at Central, I over heard a high school student say, ""if this is a college game, why are the people not cheering for their team?""  At HBCUs we only get hyped when the music is playing."
