"Give the brother a break? That is what is wrong with ""us"". We have accepted mediocrity and bad behavior far too long. If brother is not cutting it, -get rid of him. I know this dude is popular and entertaining, but he is also the face of an academic institution. I know WSSU fans are use to him but he is the image visitors walk away with. If he were announcing Shaw games, I would chain myself to the president‘s desk until the situation is corrected. Last night when the A&T cheerleaders came over to WSSU side to cheer, he could not even pronounce the word, ""exhibition.""
A visitor is like, ""damn this is the way WSSU grads speak, must be a very poor place to get an education""
I personally don‘t feel that way, but trust me there are more than enough folk out there who do."

"i personally believe the p.a. announcer should show a little boosterism for the home team...like when the hampton announcer reminds the officials to ""Move the Chains."" but it does get tiring when they think they are play by play announcers and move way beyond down and distance, ball carrier and tackler...
and the halftime announcers -- guys and girls, move the mike a few more inches from your mouth and speak distinctly, it‘s not a radio station, most of that fast-paced, smooth jive is unintelligible...especially to those of us whose senses may be a little, shall we say dulled, by our pregame festivities..."

It ain‘t what you do; it‘s what you feel. Don‘t worry ‘bout being right, just be for real. P-Funk.
