Final Score:
PV  22
A&T  7

The fifth quarter drew huge applause from the 25K+ crowd on this beautiful So Cal day. My family and I had a great time. Seeing and being seen.   Cheesy

"That‘s nice to hear. What stadium was the game played in?

Why play in Los Angeles if you‘re only going to draw 25,000?

For that size game they should have played in Texas or North Carolina."

"LA Coliseum (96,000 seats).

Nova,

There are no HBCUs on the west coast.  Fans across the country want to see games like this."

I believe having a HBCU football game in So Cal was the draw. The Black community is spread out here. So
an event like is very attractive. People came from all over. My brother and his family live two hours away from L.A. There was some serious tailgating going on. The Alumni and Greek organizations were well represented. It was great to see all the families.   Cheesy

"I‘m glad it was a success....especially hearing the horror stories involved with promoters and West Coast Classics.

25,000 attendance is nothing to sneeze at especially on the West Coast, but was there a smaller venue in LA that would have been able to accomodate the game?  I‘m thinking that it would have cost less to rent another venue, which would have generated more profit....that‘s just a guess though....maybe they got a killer deal    shrug"

Oh, hell they played this at the Los Angeles Coliseum......it must have looked empty.  With over 1.2 million African Americans in Los Angeles I guess they didn‘t want to see this PV A&M vs NC A&T game.

Good lord.....      Why would they pick such a large stadium?

"Like I‘ve been saying time after time...........

Why not play the game at the Home Depot Center initially and then, when the game has gained an annual following, move the game to a large venue like the Coliseum?

The California Interscholastic Federation has the high school football championships at the Home Depot‘s stadium. Check it out here.................

 http://www.homedepotcenter.com/venues_soccerinfo.php

I‘m glad the game went off well. Hopefully, whoever the promoters are for this event will be much more organized than some of the groups in the past............................but, I‘m not holding my breath."
