"I second. Although I‘m sorta tired of ""the debate"". If you have reasonable thinking skills, there should be no talking, but doing.

At one point he said that ultimately every man must write with his own hand the charter of his emancipation proclamation. I take him to mean that we all have the right to be treated equally under the law. We have this right, but we don‘t have any more rights than this. What we do with our rights, what we make of ourselves, the script that we write of our own lives, this finally is up to us.
There it is."

There are others that should be considered.

"^^^ESPECIALLY considering the fact that D‘Souza has made a VERY good living criticizing African Americans, our culture and attempts to level the playing field.  "

"I‘m saying he has criticized blacks of ALL political stripes. Over the years he has made a VERY good living pointing out the faults and flaws of our people, real and imagined, and even if he DID have something good to say the fact that HE said it dulls the message.

Personally, I could care less who he thinks is a good African American... ESPECIALLY since he seems to think that we are ALL bad.  "

"Chooly, the truth hurts, but we all need to listen. We need to get control of the crime rates? How do we do this? It goes back to broken homes. Most kids feel abandonment when the father is not at home or in the kids life.  They feel as as if dad did not love them.  They do not learn to care or show love.

The nextt thing we need work on is getting rid of this being smart means you are a nerd.  I have grown men call someone a nerd because they are smart.  Being educated is our way of coming up. It will not be easy because they fear smart black people because we do not fit the mold.  We need to shatter the mold by having the smartest kids and take education seriouly."

"Cats, D‘Souza is a commentator on NPR and he also writes a column and a blog.

This ""dud"" never has ANYTHING good to say about black people... liberal, conservative, or moderate.

Ain‘t no way in HELL I‘m gonna listen to a clown who never has anything good to say about my people.  :nono:"
